Grupo de teatro Fester presents: Lisístrata de Aristófanes. The proceeds will benefit the Comisión de Fiestas 2012.

A humorous comedy, asking the audience to think about freedom, social conventions, bigotry, war, and much more. The piece, set in the Athens of Aristophanes, thought to be the best representative of comedy by his contemporaries. We also know that he actively participated in Athenian political life and always manifested himself against the Peloponnesian war and for peace with Sparta. Lysistrata (411 BC) tell precisely  about this topic. Led by the protagonist, Athenian women agree with the Spartan enemy according to refrain from any sexual relations with their husbands until they end the war and make peace. This has unforseen as well as undesired consequences.

Admission - € 8. Tickets can be obtained at the Tobacconist at Plaza constitución, Muebles Miramar and Festeros 2012. Also 1 hour before the start of the performance at the Casa de Cultura.
