Egon and Chantal have managed Restaurante Los Zapatos for over 23 years. As a highly professional Master Chef Egon has worked all over the world, including: Egypt, Oman, France, England, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Canada. The countries Egon has worked in have influenced his culinary art.
Head Chef Egon makes sure he meets all his customers personally, even serving some of the food directly from the kitchen himself!!
Restaurante Los Zapatos offers elegant dining in relaxing surroundings. It is a small, intimate restaurant, seating up to 35 customers. It is classically designed, with crisp white linen tablecloths and comfortable seating.
There are many personal touches such as fresh flowers and original paintings hanging on the walls.
It is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner for two, or a small private party.
All the dishes are cooked freshly from the finest ingredients.
Egon and Chantal personally take your order, and Egon advises his customers on their choice of wine with each course.
The rich choice of wine in the cellar at Los Zapatos has been carefully selected by Egon, who believes that single grape (monovariantal) Spanish wines are excellent and worthy of accompanying his excellent cuisine.
Egon shares his culinary skills in “Master Classes”. Whether you are wanting to improve your cooking techniques or learn how to present an excellent dinner party, Egon’s “Master Classes” will point you in the right direction.
Starting with an excellent glass of champagne at 2pm, Egon leads his co food lovers through the steps of preparing the perfect meal. The day course is open to novices as well as those with a passion for cooking.
The co food lover's partner can join them in the evening at 8 pm to taste what they have prepared, and of course they can bring friends along. If this sounds interesting to you, but you do not want to cook, you are very welcome to come along and enjoy the food.
The course costs 75€ for the day and the dinner includes wine and live music.
