Marcia’s Dance Centre and Stage School will be commencing their new Dance Term on September 4^th  and are welcoming all their students back from a hot and busy summer break.  Having been established in Calpe, Spain for over 35 years, Marcia’s Dance Centre is one of the longest running Dance schools on the Costa Blanca with a wealth of experience and expertise that contributes to their great success.

Last year the students gained a 100% success rate in their dance and music examinations and managed to raise thousands of euros for local charities through their shows and charity performances.

The dance centre offers a full compliment of dance and music classes ranging from Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Flamenco, Funky Jazz and Hip Hop to Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence dancing and a range of music classes including group and private Singing lessons, Piano, guitar and flute classes.

The Dance Centre is open to everyone from 3 years upwards and have many adult and senior classes to suit all ages and levels of ability. Shows are performed throughout the year and whether you are looking for a new hobby, a future profession or just a place to make new friends and have fun while keeping fit and healthy, the friendly staff at Marcia’s Dance Centre are sure to find the perfect fit for you.

Our Weekly Tea dances will be on Tuesday 4-6pm Ballroom and Latin American & Thursday 4-6 Sequence dancing so drop in a join to fun over a nice cup of tea (or coffee!)

Classes and Tuition

The primary focus is on teaching good basic technique, which they know to be the foundation of dance practiced today along with personal development, character and pleasure in dancing.

Classes begin with a structured warm up to enable students to dance and move in a safe way. The class then covers dance exercises to develop strength and technique. The remainder of the class is spent learning a routine whilst also working on style and performance.
