Marcia's Dance Centre is a dance centre in Calpe offering a wide range of dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Modern & Ballet for dance classes for all ages and abilities.
They specialise in training both amateur and professional dancers by enhancing and developing your dancing knowledge in all forms of dance. As well as preparing our students for a stage career, gaining their teachers qualifications or simply grade examinations and medals as a dancer, they can offer acting, singing, and music classes to compliment your dancing skills.
With their expertise, absolute beginners can learn to dance to a standard suitable to their requirements (For example, that special dance at your Wedding, Christmas Party or special event) or if you just wish to seek some extra enjoyment from your dancing, we can develop a programme designed especially for you.

The Business The Dance Centre was established in April of 1979, when Marcia moved to Spain with her family. She had previously owned and run a very successful dance school in England for many years known as The Thanet Dance Studio. After searching many areas in the Costa Blanca for a suitable venue, she settled in Calpe and bought a small local in Edificio Atalaya, and gradually, as the popularity of the studio grew, she has expanded the variety of services available.´
To their knowledge they were the first dance centre covering all forms of dance in Spain and as time progressed they have added other activities to their curriculum.
They were also one of the first English owned dance centres to join the Spanish dance society SIPBE (La Sociedad Internacional de Profesores de Baile en España) and enter candidates for examinations and medals. |
