El Toro is Calpe's premier steakhouse.

They are located close to the Levante beach along the Merced road, they specialize in serving top quality Black Angus Beef in their tastefully decorated restaurant or outside on the spacious garden terrace.

The Business

El Toro opened its doors in the summer of 2012 after a major refurbishment and has quickly gained a reputation for serving first class cusine.The restaurant is set in beautiful gardens which at night comes alive with some imaginative lighting - great for al fresco dining in the summer months.

El Toro is a charcoal grill restaurant specializing in American Angus beef. The steaks and mixed grills are served in an impressive wooden beamed restaurant and open summer terrace with a completely international clientele.

They are located 20 meters along from the new Mercadona, on the Merced road, and have free parking for their customers.

The Food

The food is all freshly prepared using top quality ingredients, to offer customers the best tasting dishes.
Popular starters include the Black Angus beef rolls with Asparagus, Beef Carpaccio, or a variety of fresh salads.

For the main course, the Black Angus beef steaks are of course the speciality, cooked just to your liking. However there is also a choice of fish, served with some delicious sauces, and other popular meat dishes include the lamb, and the spare ribs with their own special sauce.
