Set Up Your Own Business in Calpe for A Euro! Calpe Town Hall are offering any new shops & restaurants opening in the Old Town special exemption from paying municipal taxes for the first year.  Through a campaign that aims to encourage job creation and support new business, no fees will be charged for the occupation of public roads, for applications for planning permission for the refurbishment of local premices, or for opening / activity licences. The new initiative will involve the symbolic payment of one euro to all new entrepreneurs who wish to open a business in Calpe Old Town. The aim is to stimulate the local economy and capitalize on the work of the Plan de Acción Comercial - Business Action Plan.
