Work underway to improve Calpe Beaches

Last Tuesday the Valencian Tourism Agency, who are responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and water mechanisms on the beaches, appointed a team of workers to undertake repairs on beaches along the coast. Work has begun with the replacement of foot baths that were missing on the Fossa beach. The Department of Beaches and Environment has also been trying to re-build part of the beach that was displaced by heavy rain to the rocks at the North end of the Fossa beach.
