Guardia Civil & Fireman from Calpe rescue two women from the Peñón de Ifach

Officers from the Fire Service and Guardia Civil were called this afternoon to rescue two women walkers disoriented by the lack of light in the Parque Natural of the Peñón de Ifach in Calpe. According to the emergency services, the women called for help during the mid-afternoon indicating that they could be unable to return, despite the fact that they were not injured in any way. Firefighters, civil guards and local police were all called to perform the search & rescue of the women.
