A survey has been published to show that 88.21% of people using the special beach areas for those with mobility problems are very satisfied with the facilities provided. There are 2 beaches with special access points - one of Playa de la Fossa, and one on the Playa del Bol.
Specially trained helpers are available to assist users of the access points, and visitors with mobility problems come to Calpe especially to make use of the facilities provided.
One of the improvement introduced this year was the introduction of special "amphibious" chairs to enable sea bathing.
