La Casa Restaurant is a Swiss owned Restaurant located in the Old Town of Calpe.

This family run restaurant has been established as one of the favourite Old Town restaurants in Calpe for over 13 years and offers a choice of International Cuisine with a Swiss influence.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT DINING IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE ROOF TERRACE AT RESTAURANTE LA CASA FOR THE SUMMER - BOOKINGS ARE RECOMMENDED TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT**


        


The Venue

Restaurante La Casa is owned and run by Mike & Serene Setz-Tan, who aim is to offer customers good quality food with a Swiss touch. Mike is a Swiss trained chef, and has designed a sophisticated menu using the freshest of seasonal produce.

Set in the Old Town of Calpe, La Casa is a cozy air conditioned restaurant, which retains the rustic character of an original Spanish town house with the original beams and low ceilings. In July and August, customers can dine "al fresco" on the comfortable roof terrace.

The restaurant is the perfect venue for parties and functions, and special menus can be arranged. Gift vouchers are available - the ideal gift for friends or loved ones.

         
 



The Food

La Casa Restaurant offers a modern International menu with both a Menu del Dia and A La Carte Menu offered. The 3 Course Menu Del Dia costs 17,50€ per person, including half a bottle of wine per person.
Customers can choose to upgrade to a A La Carte wine for a supplement .

All food served is homemade, with the A La Carte Menu offering traditional Swiss dishes as well as International favourites. Vegetarian options are available on request. A fine selection of Spanish wines are offered with the A La Carte menu.

A La Carte Starters
These include the house speciality - Homemade Swiss Quiche "La Casa", and Homemade Chicken Liver Pate with a fresh garden salad and toast.

         

 
Main Courses
A good selection of meat and fish options are available at the restaurant, including Fillet of Beef or with a choice of sauces, including:
 
* Green Pepper with white wine
* Wild mushroom with cream
* Calvados with apple slices, mushrooms and pickled onions
* Homemade stilton garlic butter with parsley
* Truffle Sauce made with truffle oil from Italy
* Creamy Brandy Sauce with Morels
* Port Wine butter sauce with foire gras 3,50€ supp

           
 

Other House Specialities include the "Catch of the Day" fish with fragrant saffron sauce, Chicken "La Casa" stuffed with special minced meat and oven baked, and Stir Fried Veal Strips in a light curry sauce topped with fresh fruit.

             
 
  
Desserts 
A choice of delicious desserts is offered to finish your meal, including Homemade Ice Cream of the Season with whipped Chantilly cream, a platter of fresh fruit, and homemade cheesecake.
La Casa Restaurant specialises in Homemade Ice-Creams with flavours such as
Almond & Amarreto, Baileys After eight, Single malt whisky with shortbread
