MOFTAG Ladies Social & Fundraising Club Description:

MOFTAG  - Mighty Oaks from Tiny Acorns Grow - is an speaking ladies club based in Calpe. Moftag holds a general meeting on the second Wednesday of every month where we normally have a speaker. Our meetings are held at Cafe Royal (next to Quicksave) in Calpe at 3 pm and there is always time for a chat, a cup of tea, or a glass of wine!
New members are always welcome and you can contact Jenny Godfrey - president Tel. 96583 0179. Social events are announced at the meetings.  Husbands and friends are welcome on these occasions.

The next two major events will be in May.  The first is a holiday to Cuenca Province.  This Trip will be for 3 days and 4 nights staying in a hotel Priego.  Moftag stayed there last year and enjoyed it so much that by popular request a return visit is planned.  This time we have room for extra guests and anyone interested can contact Michelle Tel: 96587 4284, or Jenny 639 139 518.  Husbands and friend are welcome on this trip which costs 240€ each and covers full board and a full program of excursions.

The other major event is a home produce Mini Market on Saturday 15th May held outside the Pub Delfin (just off the Gabriel Miro at 11am.  The proceeds from the Mini Market which are held regularly are all for charity.

Moftag has just helped fincance an outing for the handicapped who attend the Maite Borornat Day Centre in Calpe.  They are organising an outing to Valencia with a nights stay in a Hotel and a visit to the Oceanographic Park.
