Calpe has a station on Line 9 of the TRAM d’Alacant network, providing a useful rail connection with Benidorm, Altea, Dénia and several other Costa Blanca towns.
However, there is one important detail to understand before travelling: Calp TRAM station is not in the town centre or within easy walking distance of Calpe’s main beaches.
The station is inland, on the western side of the N-332. Most passengers arriving with luggage will need to continue into central Calpe by local bus or taxi.

Walking from the station may be possible for some visitors, but it is not particularly convenient with suitcases, young children or limited mobility.
The journey also feels longer during Calpe’s hottest summer months. A bus or taxi is normally the more practical choice.
Calpe’s urban bus network connects the TRAM station with the town centre, port and beach areas.

There is no direct Line 9 service from Calpe into central Alicante.
