Baños de la Reina (Queen's Baths) Calpe

Enjoy a visit to the Baños de la Reina (Queen's Baths).

Los Baños de Reina (the Queen’s Baths) is an archaeological site next to the promenade in Calpe. This site reveals a fish salting factory, constructed by the Romans in 2 separate phases, II & IV centuries. The pools were used for farming fish for consumption by the local people of Calpe.

The site is in relatively good condition, although it has been eroded by the sea. It is still possible to view several channels together with caves carved into the rock.
