Calpe HELP is a voluntary organisation, part of HELP of Denia and Marina Alta, which provides help and care in medical emergencies.
They also provide medical equipment, for short term loan, to assist people in their homes after suffering from an accident or recovering from surgery.
It also provides medical equipment for the Marina Alta Hospital in Denia.
The volunteers assist with taking people for hospital appointments and also provide practical assistance and advice with many other problems.
The HELP organisation has a Help Desk which is situated in the Main Entrance at Denia Hospital, to the left of the main information desk.
A HELP volunteer will assist with enquires in English from 11.00am – 2.00pm Monday-Friday (telephone96 642 9346).
Volunteer interpreters can be booked in advance using the same number, but please remember due to work load and waiting time for Consultants your appointment cannot be guaranteed.
