200 PEOPLE JOIN IN THE PAELLA COMPETITION OF THE ROTARY CLUB CALPE-IFACHMore than 200 people joined in the cooking of 25 paellas last Sunday in the park of La Vallesa. This is an annual competition organised by the Rotary Club Calpe-Ifach. All entrants pay 60€ for the ingredients and paella pans and spoons. All the ingredients are the same and nothing has to be added to them. Up to 18 people may participate in each group. Amongst those assisting were the Diputado, César Sanchez, who said the event was an ideal time for associations to meet. Also assisting was the deputy Mayor and Rotarian, Javier Morató, who helped organise the event. The event was the last one to be organised under the Presidency of Rotarian, Fernando Penella, the Councillor for Finance, who was delighted with the amount of people who participated. The Rotarians will be electing a new President in September.
