Local MarketsCalpe Market - Saturday A weekly Saturday market is held in the old town of Calpe, on the Avenida Del Norte. Half of the market is devoted to fruit and vegetables, while the other half sells a wide variety of items including clothes, furnishings, leather goods, jewellery, toys & music. Calpe market is busy all year round & very crowded in high season. Parking can be a challenge on market day - it is best to arrive early & park slightly outside of town (near the tennis club is ideal). The market usually finishes around 1.30pm. Calpe Rastro - Wednesday A weekly Rastro (Flea Market) is held in the centre of Calpe every Wednesday morning. It is located in Avenida Pais Valencia (in front of the Sports Centre). |
